About

Hello from sunny San Diego! It’s me, Wendy- wife, mother, gardener, teacher, photographer. I have four beautifully energetic children ages 12, 10, 8 and 6, as well as a couple goats and small flock of chickens. Amidst all the carpooling to soccer practices and tending to the animals, the unrivaled source of joy in my life is hands down this family that I call my own. My husband and I are going on fifteen years of marriage (what!) and we absolutely love getting out and about in this beautiful city with our kiddos. Our favorite places to go are the beach, Balboa Park, and camping at Mission Trails Regional Park.Aside from my family, books and photography are my passion. I attend two different book clubs with some truly insightful women and my favorite book is Lovely War by Julie Berry. What I love most about being a photographer is the opportunity to serve families, especially mothers, by doing something for them that they cannot do for themselves. Sure, you could set up the tripod and use the self-timer to take a photo with you in it, but let me take the stress out of the situation by shouldering that responsibility.

Let your children see that you were there, present in their lives, WITH them. The moments can slip through our fingers so quickly, but a photograph allows us to keep some moments from being lost forever.  I believe in printing photographs. I believe in telling the stories about them to our children so the legacy of our love and our lives continues on. I encourage you to bring the grandparents to your next family session, book an occasional daddy-daughter session, or take the family photos for a Christmas card like you’ve been meaning to for years! You will never regret having the photos, but you will regret not having them. I look forward to seeing you from the other side of the lens 🙂 xoxo, Wendy
